The chili pepper that started the “hottest pepper in the world” craze. Western culture is just now catching on to how important chili peppers are to a healthy lifestyle. For generations in Northern India they have been chowing down on Ghost Peppers like it was their job. Many ancient cultures have known or even still know about the healing properties of chilies, India being no exception. We see ancient Mayans, Chinese, Indians incorporating hot chilies into their diets and medicines. Back in 2007 the Ghost Pepper or Naga or Bhut Jolokia was reported as the hottest pepper in the world. It held that title for a few short years. Apparently, the hot pepper business is a dog eat HOT-dog world as the bragging rights can mean a lot of exposure to that particular farm. At EasyPonix, we have no aspirations of “cultivating” the hottest peppers in the world. We simply intend to grow them faster and more abundantly than anyone else.
